David Ormsby serves as the Illinois Academy's lobbyist and has extensive experience in public affairs, government relations, and public policy. Since 2016, he has represented clients through The Nolan Group, Inc., a Springfield-based public affairs firm, becoming its President and CEO in 2018. David holds a B.A. in Political Science/Philosophy, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; M.A. in Public Policy Analysis, University of Illinois Chicago; and a Ph.D. (A.B.D.), University of Illinois Chicago.
