The Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Academy). CDR is an independent authority in matters pertaining to certification, recertification and all related professional assessment and development activities. 

The new web-based Universal PDP Guide is a simplified way for practitioners to obtain information about completing recertification requirements. CDR has updated the prior approval requirements for continuing education activities. So, how does a practitioner determine if a continuing education activity is eligible for CPEUs? Check out the Activity Types and Permissible Sources chart from CDR to see what counts and what needs prior approval. Should you have additional questions, please contact CDR directly.
