The Illinois Academy Communications Committee supports both members and the public by providing accurate nutrition and dietetics information, serving as a media resource, and keeping members informed through the Academy’s website, social media channels, and other communication platforms. The committee works to promote member engagement, highlight Academy initiatives, and ensure timely dissemination of important news, events, and professional updates.

National Nutrition Month

National Nutrition Month^® is an annual campaign established in 1973 by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. During the month of March, everyone is invited to learn about making informed food choices and developing healthful eating and physical activity habits.
