Announcing the new
Media Representatives for 2009- 2012
By Julie Schumacher, EdD, RD, LDN

The Illinois Dietetic Association media representatives have undertaken a three-year journey aimed at bringing more nutrition news to the public via media. They have been working hard to promote nutrition through various media outlets such as print, radio, television and social media.

Our 2011 media plan includes our monthly nutrition topics. If you would like us to focus on a special topic or have a press release to share with us, please send us an email.

We look forward to an exciting and successful three years in the media spotlight. Thanks for keeping up to date with nutrition topics and trends. It is our mission to provide accurate nutrition information to the public!

Sincerely,

Julie Schumacher, EdD, RD, LDN
IDA Marketing and Public Relations Chair

Melissa Joy Dobbins MS, RD, LDN, CDE
IDA Marketing and Public Relations Co-Chair
