Announcing the new
Media Representatives for 2009- 2010
By Colleen Lammel-Harmon IDA Media Representative Chair

Media Representative Application 2008

In the summer of 2006, the Illinois Dietetic Association began a new three-year journey aimed at bringing more media to nutrition news and topics to the public. The media representatives have been working hard in various media outlets through print, web casts, television, and radio. View the list of the new district media representatives.

Please view our 2007 media plan which includes our monthly topics. The press releases are available for all Illinois dietitians to help spread the news. If you would like us to work on a special topic, please notify myself via email and we will work hard to include this topic in our media plans in the next three years. If you have a press release to share with us, please send that as well. Please note we will need to have the IDA board approve all press releases before posting.

We look forward to a prosperous and media packed three years. Thanks for keeping up to date with the hot nutrition topics. It is our mission to provide accurate nutrition information to the public!

Sincerely
Colleen Lammel-Harmon, RD LDN, ACE PT
