South Suburban Dietetic Association - President's Message President: Kim Kramer, RD, LDN    SSDA President’s Message 2010 Posted: 8/13/2010 Thank you for your interest in the South Suburban Dietetic Association (SSDA). I am very excited about this upcoming year.  Our President-Elect, Lauren Zuro, is hard at work making sure there is a great line up of speakers for the 2010-2011 year. We are continuing to “Go Green” this year, so please make sure that your email is updated on our membership list. If you were not a member of SSDA last year and you would like to get our monthly meeting reminders, please email ssdadietitians@gmail.com, and we will add you to the list. The membership fees have changed to $30 each year for RD’s/DTR’s, $15 for dietetic interns, and $10 for students. We have increased the CEU’s to 13 credits for the year, which comes out to well under $3 a credit hour. What a bargain!! Please take notice of the various locations of our monthly meetings. We are fortunate to have Robert Morris University auditorium for the September 8th meeting; however, we will likely be rotating facilities in the south suburban area. We are continuing to offer giveaways such as free registrations for the Ingalls Innovative Concepts of Nutrition seminar in February and free registration to the IDA Spring Assembly in April. The monthly presentations are listed on the website and will be updated with changes as they occur. I look forward to seeing you at the meetings this year!
