NSDA President's Message
Posted:
10/8/2009
Thank you for your interest in the North Suburban Dietetic Association (NSDA). As an affiliate of the Illinois Dietetic Association, membership in NSDA is open to American Dietetic Association (ADA) Members.
Benefits of NSDA Membership include continuing education offered through member meetings and other events. We are excited to offer unique educational opportunities for members through out 2009-2010 . Membership is $40 per year for RDs, $25 for DTRs, and $15 for students. Information about meeting content and a membership form are available on this website.
Affiliate dietetic associations help keep dietetics professionals in contact with colleagues and allow for unique networking opportunities. In addition, members are kept up to date regarding legislative action and ADA activities. Members have the opportunity to work in leadership roles and experience volunteering in governing roles for their profession.
I look forward to the year ahead and to meeting new and veteran members. I hope we can enjoy the journey together.
Best regards,
Janet Millikan, MS, RD, LDN
President, 2009-2010
