Hello from Central Illinois Dietetic Association!

Thank you for your interest in the Central Illinois Dietetic Association (CIDA). As an affiliate of the Illinois Dietetic Association, membership in CIDA is open to all American Dietetic Association Members. Benefits of CIDA Membership include continuing education offered through Member Meetings and other CEU events, networking with other Central Illinois-area RDs/DTRs, Opportunities to lobby with the legislative committee at the state and national level, Membership Directory with contact information of all members, and access to CIDA Awards and Scholarships. Email reminders are our communication route about upcoming meetings and CIDA activities. Membership is available for $20.


We will have information regarding our upcoming Fall/Spring meetings once the dates are set.  Please put these dates on your calendars:

Member/board Member "Perks"

CIDA will provide a $25 voucher for CEU reimbursement costs to an RD at 4 of our yearly educational meetings. An RD's name will be chosen at each meeting & she/he will need to be present at the end of the meeting to receive their voucher. They will need to send a certificate of attendance (proof that they attended a CEU program) to the treasurer of CIDA in order to receive the $25 check in the mail.

CIDA will waive membership dues for all board members (not committee chairs, unfortunately) for the year following their board membership duties. Only one board meeting, per year, can be missed in order to receive this "perk".

CIDA will provide the current President with a $200 honorarium to attend the national ADA meeting or the annual IDA meeting.
